I'm fairly certain Posse Comitatus would come in to play here on that one. I highly doubt the President would authorize it either.

 

I've never been to California other than to switch planes at LAX. I don't know what the cops there are like. I can tell you that we are very professional where I work, but there are only 3500 cops in the state of NH. There are some bad ones, some that make bad decisions, I get that, completely. I just don't get how you guys could even begin to believe some asshole who kills a bunch of people, only because he is somewhat educated, and writes a letter. That doesn't mean he's not still a fucking mental case. It's hard for me to believe, from my position, that things have not changed at LAPD, and that they still beat people. I don't think that's true at all, I think if it does happen it gets dealt with. That is shit you see in movies, it's not real life. LAPD doesn't deserve this, and I refuse to see this dorner asshole's point of view, even for a minute. I think he's a liar, I think he's pissed that he got fired and probably can't find another job. You guys would be surprised how people act when they can't put food on the table. This whole situation is fucked, and I'm by no means saying LAPD didn't do anything wrong during this investigation, because we all know they've made bad fucking mistakes. But I refuse to sit here and listen to all of you motherfuck cops and tell stories about how you were wronged by one at some point in your life. This thread isn't about that, it's also not about how bad of a job LAPD is doing, it's about some dirtbag who's killing cops and running from his problems like the fuck he is. This is my last post in this thread.

I understand where you're coming from experiencing profiling and a multiple searches that you felt were unjustified. There ARE police officers out there who push the boundries of the law, and may think that they understand what "probable cause" or "exigent circumstances" are. They use these as a blanket to push their personal agendas, or biases and violate YOUR rights.

Have you ever gone to the DMV and dealt with an excellent, happy, professional employee, only to go back the next day and have to put up with an ignorant useless tit? The same situation applies to the police.

Again, I can only speak to the way policing is done here in the North, but I beleive most of this information is similar in the states.

If you ever feel that you have been mistreated or treated unfairly, i urge you to complain. There are VERY specific criteria that must be DOCUMENTED by your detaining/arresting officer when you are searched without a warrant. If an investigation reveals that this criteria are not met, they are in serious shit, and you are justified in pursuing restitution.

Here in Canada we have a public complaints commission.. an external agency that you report to, has no connection to any police departments, and your complaint gets a fair shake regardless of how absurd or justified it is.

I digress... back to the man-hunt. I need a donut.

I was saying that a drone strike on this particular person, on US soil, is a preposterous idea.

Traveler said he wouldn't be surprised if they used a drone strike if they located this subject, I was responding to that.
