Listen man, none of us here are cop haters, believe me. I can see how you might misconstrue our good intentions for bad being that your new and don't know us. This forum is full of LEOs and they get tons of support from this community. I've seen more than 1 person come and talk smack on cops and get banned within hours.

It may appear that our outrage and fear which has risen in light of these recent incidents may be viewed as cop hating, but its not. We just saw pictures of a blue Tacoma with dozens of holes in it and it does not even match a positive description.... don't you think thats gonna get us all riled up given we all drive Tacoma's?

I will agree that nobody in here should be jumping to conclusions and making any sort of judgement on the situation. Police make split second decisions and sometimes make mistakes. They are all at heightened alert levels and its easy to mess up. We are all human. None of us have any info other than that obtained from the Mass News Media, which we all know is highly misinformed. None of us were there, so we can't say if this was a good shoot it not. I'm inclined to say it wasn't, but, I wasn't there so maybe it was. IA will investigate and proper actions will ensue.

With that all being said, I think everyone should atop their judgements of the LAPD, because the actions of those officers, whether justified or not, do not represent that of the LAPD. Their actions are their own, not the entire departments.

I would strongly urge you to stop accusing us of being cop haters, because we are not. Coming in with less than 40 posts and contributing nothing to this forum other than "lock, lock, lock..." and shit taking will earn you a fast pass to getting banned. Many of us are seasoned and respected members of this forum, and if you don't like the our morals here, then leave. Nobody is keeping you here but yourself.

I think you're completely missing the point that they weren't the "suspect." No the suspect wasn't armed because the suspect wasn't even involved in that incident, they were completely unrelated people. Frankly, of all the things we don't know, the fact that PD made a terrible mistake with regard to that truck is the only thing that really isn't in question. Looking for a close to 300lb black man and they open fire on 2 Asian women.

THat's not cop bashing. I generally give LEO's the benefit of the doubt, but that was a major fuck up. I don't even know how that part of this whole case is even being debated.

 

Agreed with Anthony. Let's keep this to updates and keep the conspiracy theories limited to extra terrestrial involvement.

Exactly. None of us are cop bashing or hating, we are just on edge due to the amount of disregard shown by officers, which is based solely on the current facts at hand and personal point of view.

If you feel singled out because you work security and feel we are all just talking shit and hating on you, keep in mind that I work security too... the vast majority of people in this thread know that, but nobody is hating on me. Why then you ask? Cause' of your bad attitude and annoying comments from a newb. Like I said before, if you don't like us, feel free to log off as you have already recommend to us.
