Lost track many, many mods ago.
I googled your tires but cant find them. You say they are D.C. Extreme Terrain.

I assume the D.C. means Dick Cepek. Am I wrong? Truck looks good man.

    Hey pal,

So YES DC = Dick Cepek. The Tires are Called Mountain Cat Extreme Terrain, you can only buy them at Les Schwab Tires. And they would have to ship them from their warehouse on Primeville OR.
REASON WHY: Those tires were made from Dick Cepek per special request for Les Schwab only. So they were only sold there. A year or so back, Mickey Thompson Tires bought Dick Cepek and discontinued that tire. So the only ones left are at the warehouse. I work at L.S. so i knew they had some :) and i ordered them.

hey bro, i love your truck. it has to be one of the best looking DC ive seen. great job.

i was thinking of getting the same kit you just got, except i was thinking of going with the expedition all-pros just for the added payload. im getting a topper and a tool box for my truck and i put my bikes the bed every weekend, not sure if the regular all-pros will hold up. i know i only have a prerunner but i figured i can do some damage with a locker. how are your leafs holding up to the weight you have right now? and how do you like the lift over all, worth it or no? thank you and again fantastic looking ride. im verry envious.

    WELL THANKS! ;)

OoohhTAY! So, my standard leafs gave me like 5" of lift. There has been controversy over if they are bad leafs or not. But they flex well and they sure do hold their payload. They are kinda stiff over bumps tho.
Overall i am satisfied with my lift options. The truck rides good and it provided a lil lift.
However, if i would have went back im not sure i would have lifted it yet, because i plan to Straight axle it the moment it's paid off. So i paid like 1,000 for the entire lift. And i'll prob be selling it as a kit when i pull it all off.
There's a pic of my truck with a trailer on the back, you can see how the back is still ass high!

Thx for the info. That is my exact price range so that's fantastic. So ill probably go with the standard leafs than. A lot of people are running with the 5100 billsteins and you used the 5125s, any reason? As you may have guessed, I'm new to this off road thing so if you could give me some advice. Is it worth my time and money to fix up a prerunner or just leave it as a streat driver. And would a TRD LSD fit on my truck or would a locker be better. Sorry for asking so many questions, I'm saving money while I'm deployed and want to fix my ride. Just don't want to waist my money. Thx bro

No worries I completely understand and thanks for serving ;)
The 5100s are only supposed to be used for a max of 2.5 inches of lift for the rear. The 5125 offer 9.25" of travel. I contacted toy tec and billstein USA to figure it out the way I wanted. I'd prefer the locker, but I'm not sure which would be cheeper or easier to do.
All the same it just depends on looks IMO. My last Tacoma was on 31" and it went everywhere. It's up to you bud ;)

thank you so much jonnie for all your information, you have been more than helpfull. and thank you for supporting our troops, not may people do these days. i am probably going to get the same set up as you, it just looks to great to pass up. im probably going for a TRD LSD and a pneumatic locker rear end. ive been looking for a canopy topper with a rack already on it but i guess its hard to find. with probably 285-55R16, just dont know what brand yet. thank you again for all your help and actually responding to my reply. you are the only one in the year ive been on here. so again, thank you for your kindess.

    Ya for sure no sweat!
My setup def works ;) I get more compliments than i care for.
BTW with my setup you can run a little larger tires (285/85r16)
I happen to work at a tire store so if you have any questions regarding which tire etc don't hesitate to ask. This forum is great for gathering and sharing information. Spreading the kindness like a bird flinging shit!

no im not a pilot i work on them and crew them when i get the chance. i take parts off, trouble shoot them, fix them and put them on. some times we take the hole chinook apart and clean everything and build it up all like new and crew it for a test flight. crew members are, door gunners, push out personell and cargo. make sure the aircraft is running right and we are the ones that tell the pilots what to do when we are doing a slingload. its a great job.
