He stated that he is going "off the grid." Wouldn't it be a crapper if he is right under their nose? I am waiting to hear of his demise.

Easy enough to disappear in one of the rural towns.

My marksman friend use to tell me this, and the fact that the Military does not require the marksman standard they did even in WW2 is scary? being "qualified" in Military or Police is as easy as taking a dump anymore they tell me. Is this true? :bananadead:

different branches have different marksmanship standards, different units have different marksmanship standards too, it's up to the units
but the general standards are pretty easy... I qualified "expert" on the M16 without having actually put any 5.56 downrange for months; granted I was with the ROTC, which is chicken shit compared to active

but my point is him being qualified doesnt really mean much

I think a 6'4 black man weighing 270 lbs might stick out down there.

This guy doesnt strike me as a survivalist. He complains too much to be able to live outdoors.

I think he has another vehicle and is living in it right now.

If he didnt have a car then how the heck is he going to travel to the other cops and assasinate them ?

This is like morbid entertainment waiting for his next move. Reminds me of the DC snipers when I would come home from work and turn on TV waiting for the next shooting. Sure enough they kept coming.

All I ask is the guy do something where television coverage would be good and we can get it live, like the North Hollywood shootout. Best shootout ever !!

Just remember a good Sniper always has a friend. He may be good alone, but with a friend he is damn right scarey.

I concur with this as well. But no long range-type sniper shots recorded yet. However remember the DC snipers? Holy Sht lets hope it does not turn into that...

Do they really think the person they are looking for would still be driving the blue truck after whatever it is they did? C'mon, he might be psycho, but he can't be THAT stupid. And agreed, its not worth the risk of killing innocent people to go shooting up every blue truck they see. I understand the vast majority of cops are good, well-intentioned people, but its things like this that make certain people hate them.
