I have the 7140 and I like it. It has everything the 8120 had plus the updated Garmin GPS, and you can finally change the color of the front panel bar to match the orange gauges. Install is easy if you know what you're doing, and it works with the PAC swi-x steering wheel controls.

Do have the factory Bluetooth? If yes; do the phone buttons work and were you able to use the factory mic in the rear view mirror?

Just purchased this today, had originally purchased on the 9140 But decided i don't need the few extras.
I am having it installed on Weds June 3rd, the only thing special I did was order the wire so I can use the factory XM antenna. I am also going to have the installer run the iPhone wire out of one of the black knock outs next to the factory AUX input.
I will post photos of the install ASAP

Nice, I think I'm going to do that this week, the few posts I found mentioned some static if you tap in and run both screens. Have you had any problems? Have any pics?

what is the freakin deal with bluetooth on this thing. I can get it to pair with my phone and connect most of the time when the unit turns on but seems like after I place one call or send a text from my phone it disconnects. I suppose it could be my phone but the connectivity is crap. Anyone else havnig problems with bluetooth? As far as I know, there are no current updates for this since it came out in March. I checked the compatibility list on kenwoods site and my phone is listed as compatible. FRUSTRATING!

Oh - JDrew, you got a close up of the wheels on your Tacoma? Those are sweet.

My installer said my iPhone was the first phone he had seen work so smoothly, it took 15 seconds to pair and has worked perfectly, I do not however get to see my SMS's on the screen like some other phones

And a second request on JDrew's wheels, did you paint them yourself?
