Unfortunatly we never know who is in the car. If they want to kill us or not who knows. I think they shot this truck up before they got the description of a Titan. Who knows though. The truth willl come out someday. And yes some officers do need to know thier vehicles. Could not agree more.

So as promised, pictures of my newest addition. A coworker gave me 4 "love 2 surf" brackets for the bed of the truck. I bought 1" conduit pipe and enlarged the holes in the brackets for it to fit nicely. Threw on 3 coats of rustoleum flat black and installed everything today. Looking forward to trying them out tomorrow.

 

Be careful. Those plastic tie-down cleats can't support a lot of weight, and the "love 2 surf" brackets attach to the weaked part of each cleat.

 

Thanks for the concern, but i doubt the weight of bikes will be an issue. Otherwise i dont think they would design them this way. Now, i am considering adding a basket (doubtful) or at least mounting my hi lift between the bike mounts. But i think they will still be fine.

I wouldn't worry about the mounts. the bed rails and cleats are weakest in a twisting motion. because the conduit is locked into the mounts with that set screw, you are putting a shear force on them. granted the cleats are strongest in a straight pull, but shear is not far behind in strength.

this also means that your setup will get stronger as you move the bike mounts outward.

I don't do a whole lot at night but when I have wanted it and not had it I was rather disappointed in 'yota.

 

Just got in on the Trek Light group buy. I'm getting their 18in XT. It should fit my bumper well.

Dude have I got the place!!!!!It's called Nacho Mama on 50 just west of 436. Dude just got done eating there. Freakin awesome. I got a foot long freaking burrito and free bud light drafts plus live music. The place is a total freakin dive but dude did I mention FREEEEEEE BUD LIGHT DRAFTS????? The food was great and got a server chick with the biggest T&$% EVER!!!!!holy crap it was good!!!!!! If we went with all of us we would take up the whole place it was awesome!!!!FREEEEEE BEEEEEEER.....
