    Rick,

If that CRNA means what I think it does then you would appreciate my comment.

Him bragging about is the kinda attitude and behavior that makes our jobs so hard. Most of us just want to the best thing for the Pt. Hence, one reason we have so much malpractice lawsuites and an overall public attitude to "worry more about what that did wrong than the overall good that we do."
That is truely the attitude of looking for something for nothing....!

I fail to see the correlation between nursing and selling cars.

Guys I doubt there was much of an error or whatever...those finance guys do this all day every day they are really good at playing with numbers and moving them around until a customer is satisfied and the dealer is making some money. In the end this guy got the truck for $3k below invoice by paying $28k for it (the $1k rebate is from Toyota corporate and is separate from the purchase of the vehicle from the dealer).

Some people get these trucks for $1k below invoice. The combination of this guy's sister's discount for working at Toyota, plus the trade that could bring the dealer some profit, could account for the extra $2k he got on top of most others...that's it.

Initially he claimed the MSRP was over $35k which is why I was surprised, at $33k it seems more reasonable...

The entune is cool , I loved it at first .

But all that stuff got old to me after a few days . It was a extra 1500 after haggling but still wasn't worth it to me .

I could have kept the stock non entune headunit which is still nice , and for just a couple hundred upgrade to some realy nice speakers and subs .

    Thanks!

Well... I'm not totally out of the lowered car world :). I still have my garage queen (997tt)

I'm in Houston. Which 4x4 are you referring to?

I traded in my 03 4x4 reg cab for a 13 reg cab 4x4 with opening rear window, mats with sill protector, locking spare, and extend-a-bed. Sticker was $23,965. My price was $22,975 minus $6,500 for my 03 nets $16,475 plus tax and plate transfer fee.

Gotcha... no, I decided not to get the 4x4 bc I don't offroad. I decided I'd rather save the $3k difference for a supercharger :D

I got a '13 DCSB Sport 4x4 auto with tow and weather mats, sill gaurds and bug reflector for 30883. I decided to do a one time lease payment for 36/36000 for 12183 OTD. I only drive about 6-7k per year and decided to lease. 338 a month if you average it out. 20838 buyout. I will decide what to do then as it will probably be worth way more as I found trying to find a used one. Used prices were ridiculous and I just decided to go new.

The Kicker for my deal was two years of free maintanence.

today its 4 weeks since I ordered my truck and still not even a VIN #….
i think that if i dont have it by next Sat…(5 week mark) im going to start pushing to get my deposit back, and maybe they'll get moving….. Im ok with the truck itself taking 6-8 weeks as every other dealer told me the same, but not having VIN after 4 weeks sounds like BS….

you have to remember that until the truck is built, there will be no vin. I ordered mine with a deposit and no vin. They cant officially do your paperwork with no vin and I'm sure they would love to get it finalized. Once my truck was built not only did I have the vin, but it arrived three days later. Its a process that happens all at once and at the end of the build/delivery process. I waited 3 or 4 weeks for mine as well. If you ordered it and really want it, have patience. I know its hard and it sucks, but its worth it!

…. I understand the time for the truck to be delivery its what it is… but a VIN # could be provided the moment the order is put into manufacturing… as per the sales rep and sales mngr themselves…. A few years ago around 02 or 03, a friend of mine pre order one of the special edition VW GTI R32 and he got a VIN# 2 months before delivery….

either way…. my best shot is just to wait…. i just want my taco already :(

Feb 6, 2013 we bought a 2013 PreRunner Access cab 4x2 SR5, tow package, backup camera, bluetooth, carpet and mats, model 7164A in Super White. MSRP was $26,935. Traded in our Nissan ALtima 2.5SL with 24k miles. They gave us 17k for it and knocked $1185 off of the list price. We ended up kicking in $9786 boot. Taxes, tags, transfers blah blah blah, the truck cost $26786 out the door. We shopped used and the prices were astounding. We're in New Mexico, and everybody out West loves these things apparently. Who can blame 'em. Hated the Altima, love the Truck. H

Thanks! Yeah, I got a V6 with the Tow Package as well. I got them to throw in floor mats with the door sill protector, exhaust tip, and an extra set of keys for what it's worth. MSRP on it was $30,070.
