My 09' came with windows already tinted. In several spots on each window is a small but visible 3M logo - not a big deal but it bugs me. Is there a way to remove it without damaging the tint?

If it's under the tint film, you won't be able to take it off without cutting it.

That's what I don't know - if it's printed on the side between the tint and the window or on the inside of the tint.

it's usually a small sticker on the window that is tinted over. But a picture would help out if you got one....

i had AVS window vents, and hood protector. Just hard rubbing and some alcohol did the trick.

Oh yea if you have not tried it. Rubbing alcohol does take it off. I guess they forgot to remove them on mine also.

FYI: Alcohol can discolor tint. Not that it definitely will, just be aware of it. That is why you do not use "blue" window (Windex, etc) cleaner on tinted windows.

The 3m Tint is a layered plastic tint with the UV and the tint layers on the glass side. =) I guess thats why they print their logo with "Ink" on the outside.

I didnt get pics before I removed mine. Its just a 1/2" x 1/2" black 3M symbol. It repeats the logo about every 12 inches horizontally.
