Driving ban lifted at 4! Ill be waiting to do a Lemans start hahah..have to rake the roof and do some more shoveling, about 8 inches more. Workesd by the Tacoma headlights last run so it's almost clean, Cupcake's Rav4 is covered.

The real fun is tomorrow trying to get my father in law out of the house for dialysis

 

Deval can suck my dick. Heading out now to try to find some shear bolts for the snow blower, both are gone. No wonder the snowblower didn't seem to be throwing very much snow..

 

Already went for a spin

 

I just went for a drive. Measured the snow in the driveway we have 29". I just got out of the unplowed driveway also up a hill. These duratracs are awesome, they float on top of the snow. 1st attempt i didn't make it out, second attempt with the e-locker and atrac on i made it out no problem, and pushed through a 3'+ drift at the end of the driveway. I love this truck!!!

I am on my last 2 right now...I have been gingerly clearing the snow...I can't hit anything...

You can get them at sears for $5.99 and see stock online...but they won't be open right now.

 

Just got some brass screws from lowes.
Should work as shear bolts for the time being. I'm in the same predicament as you. I have an old snapper blower, and sears online is one of the few places to get parts for it.

You get power back yet or any estimate as to when you'll get it back? I heard a lot of areas south of me lost power.

 

Finished. Still need to get some salt and sand for the driveway since it's slick as shit.

 

I cleared the snow from my bed, but what is concensus here? Leave it for weight or clean it out to save gas? I don't think i need it b/c it was great yesterday w/out it.

 

So what are ppl up to? Is anyone meeting now that the travel ban is lifted?

Dammit i want to go offroading! I finally convinced the girlfriend to come with me tomorrow but i think the snow might be a little to deep

 

So I guess most of the plows in my city broke down last night. So my streets still look like they did over 12 hours ago. I cross the line into Bellingham and it's dry pavement. And yeah apparently everyone with a Ranger/Explorer/Sport Trac can't drive over 15mph.
