This is what my city streets still look like:

And the giant snow pile at the end if my driveway. I'm sure I'll be looking at this for the next 4 months.

Used my recovery strap to yank my trailer out of the snow. Used it to put the snow blower in and take it to Sarah's to clear her driveway. Duratracs and trailer are handling quite nicely.

Man CT is screwed. After snow was done it was higher than my 33 " tires. So I know I am in 3 feet club. For one day thats crazy. Since roads where closed nobody could get plowed. That means I have 5 foot tall, 10 foot wide snow bank in front of my driveway. I made cut through that.
I got saved by my old snow thrower, my ATV with plow could not move.
    F .. narrow tires.

Idk why I'm even on here been up 30 hours. Hung out with miguel pulled him out.. funny he got stuck at toyota regional place. then i flew into a snow bank and friends outback XT pulled me out. Went on the hunt for fire wood, couldnt find anything so we just removed a few trees that had fallen, figured we'd help out the town a little bit.

    Truck damage
    ABS light on IDK why
    Cracked fog
LCA bushings are garbage (something is clunking really bad)

I just got back from city, had to work this AM. Highways are clear and white, thanks to salt. The city is screwed, it was a mess, snow banks and piles every where. They are trying to clean up with front end loaders and dump trunks taking it away. We got power back on last night prob around 8PM. The house got as low as 50 will be buying a generator soon that moved up the priority list for both of us. I finished spraying the liner on my sliders this am, they are in the bed of the truck I just have to make room for them in garage.

Bily, I bought an LP Sportsman brand generator from Home Depot. It's a 4000W I believe, runs off the same LP tanks the grille uses and was just over $300. You can buy those Lowes of HD 10% off coupons on Ebay for around $1/ea (that's how I got mine so cheap). I actually had a Lowes 10% off coupon but I called HD Online when I ordered and they just took the 10% off on the phone (I was then able to use the 10% off coupon again in the store). Something to consider, the LP ones are nice and light because they don't have the gas tank on top of them, quieter than gas and the exhaust isn't as offensive.

I will have to look at them cause I should have something. How long does a grill tank last? What do you run with the 4000W?

So my city's streets are still not cleared. Doesn't seem to stop people with their RWD sports cars from trying to go out, only to get stuck! It's like seriously dude, what makes you think your Crossfire is gonna get up that hill??

Also got stuck behind another Ranger! Dave, are Rangers really that incapable in the snow??

My parent's road in CT wasn't plowed as of about 9pm last night:eek:

Seems like a safety hazard to me. Not sure if it's even been plowed yet.

You can come to my city, plenty of snow to wheel in. There is at least one big parking lot still untouched since the blizzard. That means 3' of fresh snow for us to all get stuck in lol
