Sorry if this has been addressed before but I searched and couldn't find an answer.

"Rear spring TSB 36month or 36K whichever comes first."

I called the 800 number today and mentioned harsh ride and bottoming out with 500 lbs. Checked my vin number and said the truck was sold in jan of 06 and is out of warranty for TSB. My mileage is only 18k. I mentioned drive train warranty is 60 months or 60k miles. He said drive train is engine and not frame. Got a case number and said the dealer rep will call me. Not sure where I stand. Waiting for the dealer rep to call me. Any recomendations on what to do about the 36month rule?

Lots to come at some point. Hopefully soon.
Yeah just get on the phone and call around. I just had mine done a few weeks ago and It was outside of warranty. Just be nice and ask if they can do it under "goodwill". My dealership in Portland did it no prob at all. There are no guarantees but if you work the phones you just might find someone who wants to do it. Good luck!

3yrs or 36K is usually a which ever happens FIRST thing...Not a BOTH thing. So you are out of warranty I think.

Gotta just ask nice and see if they will hook you up.

Took the truck down to the dealer and got rejected by the district manager as it is past the 36 month window by 4 months. Don't know what to do next. Any recomendations?

Suspension components are not part of the drivetrain warrantee.

Do some research on this forum. There are lots of aftermarket leaf springs & Add-a-leafs available to you.
