Do you regularly use paper plates at home?

I do at picnics and office parties. At home I like a real plate. You?

 

With 4 kids using several plates, every day....yes....paper for breakfast/lunch. Regular plates for the evening dinner.

 

Yup We use paper whenever poss

 

In college so my answer is yes

Mostly use paper plates, but use real plates when posting to the Foodies BS Thread. Gotta make fancy fancy

 

For breakfast and lunch- paper, for dinner, real plates.
These rules can be and are broken several times a year though.

when we have like 4th of july party or xmas pizza party at my uncles, sure.

 

Occasionally. I find that I use them as often to help prepare food, such as mini cutting boards, as to eat on. However, I only use the UNCOATED ones, since sometimes I place them in the microwave.

 

No, but with the kids, we use al lot of the plastic cups.

We have so many plastic utensils and paper plates left over from the wedding, thats what we've been using. Before the wedding, and once we run out of these, it will be back to regular plates, and silverware.

 

Yes, except when having pasta or something equally messy. Get them in bulk at BJ's. With only the 2 of us, it cuts down substantially on the amount of dishes we have to do.

 

If the dish is "wet" or piping hot, I like a real plate. Paper get soggy and sticks to my currently cheapo dinner table.

 

I feel guilty whenever I use styrofoam. I wish there was a process to recycle it, chop it up and reglue it for insulation or something. But I am still use it from time to time

 

I only use paper plates for parties or camping. Otherwise, I use real plates.

 

I use them as much as I can. Bachelor life I guess haha. Sure if I'm eating a steak or some other bigger more substantial meal I'll grab a real plate.

 

Regular plate if required (i.e. saucy dish, rice, noodles, etc.). All other times I just fold up a paper towel and skip plates all together.
