This is my friend stuarts truck. The "link killer" kit he got rode like shit. The bypasses they gave him only had one tube.. Super goofy. That fab work was done by Dirt Freeks motorsports, totally disappointed with the work they did. His bed cage snapped its first trip out.

damn. yeah, the top hat on his passenger side rear shock was getting chunked out by the cage/mount also

 

It rode like shit because it had a double stack of .020 shims on the compression side. I put it to a single stack and he said it was a night and day difference

can you run 3" travel bumps in the front?

 

You can run whatever you want as long as you make sure the bumps are placed correctly. Only way to get it right is to cycle the suspension and make sure the bumps hit before anything binds. Only negative thing about running longer stroke bumps is that you will be hitting your bumpstops more often which will prolly annoy you. If I were you, just buy some bumps, cut out an according spacer and turn them into 2" bumps. That's what most people run in the front. Mine were 4" stroke but modded to 2". Feels great!

 

do they make a big diff? i really need them in the rear.

 

You can increase the size of the spacer or cut it down to adjust bumps. It's very easy to do.

 

Do most peoe cut the stock front bumps all the way off ? Or notch it to fit the hydros??
