Cobra 29 LX Modulation Adjustment

Hey, I picked up a Cobra 29 LX a few weeks back and was thinking about turning the modulation up on it. Seems easy enough with no harm done to the radio.

Just wanted to know how much more of an advantage it would be to get it professionally done??

There is a shop around here that charges $25 for a peak, tune, and alignment.

Yeah that's what I got done cost me $25 but it sounds and works perfectly now! The guy that did it was actually amazed how well it sounds considering its one of the new digital radios.

 

Yeah, they are nice little radios. A buddy of mine has one all modded up with a comp kit and it sounds real nice.

 

Mind if I ask what a comp kit is?

 

Basically modding the hell out of the thing. The have CB competitions to out do one another....
