The install of the new super bumps. Old ones came loose in one twist with the channel locks. I taped the heads of the bolts and got them on and tight by hand, the toughest part was getting them tightened to where I was happy. It's just a tight awkward spot, and I'm not little..lol

x2 Those are nice but I've always preferred breaker bars. If it's still stuck then add more leverage like an extension with a socket on the end of the breaker bar. I've done that from time to time at work, especially on parts that were installed at 400ft lbs.

Got in good with a dealer and he said he will order one in his next order. Still though, 125ft lbs torque isn't bad. I'd like to have both, but only having one in 1/2" is more practical. So its probably going to be the Full sized one.

I was looking at the Same form factor 150ft lbs version vs the full sized one @300ft lbs torque

I've been waiting for a good deal on one of these specifically for a while and the prices are all about $100 more than that so if you can get me one for that price or put me in touch with your guy shoot me a PM.

Home Depot runs some pretty good sales when the new models are coming out and they need to clear inventory.

I picked up the 18v LiPo combo pack with 2 batteries, charger, drill, and 1/4" impact for about $160.

I won't use this for car work but they're awesome for running holes in 2x4's for pulling cables, romex and such. I keep a 12v impact on my belt but for larger jobs these 20v brushless impacts are fantastic!

Best I can do is ask. I have done a lot of work for the guy for free just helping out with things here and there. Then he tells me he owns the shop and asks if there are any tools I needed. Said he couldn't give them to me, but would give me rock bottom on the prices for a couple pieces. SO I saw tha 1/4" and wanted the newer battery's with the power gauge on them. ALso mentioned I wanted the 1/2" drive too. SO I have til noon monday to let him know which of the other 2 tools I want and that will conclude our business.

But, Like I said, I will ask. Any business man scared of a little money is no business man at all. Know what I mean>?

Good info if you're just looking for a deal on a drill but this IS the new model we're talking about and I want one. I also want to know where this guy found one for $140 and if he can get me one.

The reason why I ask if you have any of the 20V tools already is because there's a lot of tool only for sale on the net. Ebay has bids ranging from 100-150 right now for various configs of it. I typed in "Dewalt 20v Brushless" as the search criteria.

HomeDepot Has them @169 right now...

I wanted to see one in person before I got one. Have had my eyes on these for some time too. But opportunity came and I utilized it.

I had that same 20v kit with a bunch of batteries but it was liberated from my possession. On top of that I wanted the new batteries with the indicators on them. I will eventually add more of the 20v tools but for now I've been making due with some Crafstman versions and some corded versions of the same tools. If I get some big jobs that require them again I'll probably drop the $500 to replace them all again.

I do watch CL but the closest thing to this 20v Brushless impact is $215 used and doesn't even include the smaller battery, just the one 3.0 battery.
