What year is her car? And I'd wire wheel and sand. Then you want to either mask off the tire or remove the tire and paint

Wire wheel or one of those wire cups either on an angle grinder or power drill. Wipe down with mineral spirits, prime and paint. That Rustoleum Auto Primer seems to be pretty good stuff!

Is Miguel's lifted? Looks like the one on the right is sitting taller :notsure:

Ah... I toughed it out and painted mine in the basement. I thought Kendra was going to kill me  I used 4 cans of bed liner so it's layered on pretty thick. I made sure to double up on any of the forward facing tubes or gussets as they're going to basically get sand blasted their entire life.

I did the same thing in reguards to amount (4 cans) and location ( forward facing). I will touch up once they are on. Maybe we can do an install and freq check on the same day

I did notice that the extra brace that Rob didnt get was different from side to side. One side was bent alittle more so where it came off the leg going to the frame it was 90 degrees inside were the other was less than 90 causing it to be closer to the bolt on bracket

It would be a good comparison since they'll see similar conditions and were prepped differently. Now you're making me think I didn't coat them well enough, same amount but I've got a lot more surface area! I did 2 thick coats (doubling up the forward facing parts each time so they have 4 coats at least) and then did another coat on the top and sides where they'll be stepped on.

That's interesting... mine seemed the same side to side, at least I didn't notice any differences. I'll check again tonight out of curiosity. I was going to pictures up of mine fully painted but my laptop crapped out last night

I've still got 2 left. I forgot that I had a couple cans leftover from when I did my lower valance and my NFab bar. I've got a small paint shop in my basement, there's got to be 20 cans of latex interior paint and I'll bet another 15 cans of various spray paints plus all the wood stains/laquers. I need some more projects to use some of it up :D

Mine got an error code basically telling me that a complete hard disk failure was imminent. I called HP and found out I'm still under warranty. They sent a new hard disk with all the backup CDs so I removed the old one (which was still working mind you) and replaced it with the new one, ran all the recovery CDs and now it won't startup... Now they're threatening me with charging me for the new HD since I haven't mailed the old one back to them yet. I keep telling them, I'm not going to mail them a part that I know works until they get the new one up and running. Now they want me to send the whole computer to them so they can fix it (not happening), so we're at a stand off :D A manager is supposed to call me tonight... :jerkoff:

Mine is prob 3 or 4 years old out of warr and if it doesnt come back it had a good life. I think that is a long time for a computer that sees alot of internet use.
