The PlastiDip itself works great but after changing my grill from silver (which reflected light pretty well) to black, my grill now looks see through from straight on. It's only temporary until I get my Satoshi Grill.

I also dipped my decals which turned out solid.

I did mine awhile back. I also have a black lower valence and emblem, but on silver. I think it looks good on the white as well. I'll see if I have any pictures.

Been considering my scoop and fog housings on silver as well. Any pics of yours would be appreciated. Already completed my front valence, grill, and roof.

No problem man! It looks good! Mine has held up pretty nice from debris on and off road. I think I've only had to touch up the wheels once in the last 8 months so not bad and they were only minor touch ups to where I didn't have to take the wheels off. Now get started on the BHLM and the lower valance! lol

The oven puts everyone a little uneasy the first time but it works well and doesn't melt anything. Just get a piece of cardboard that the headlight can sit on. Turn the oven on to 250 and when it reaches that temperature then turn it off. Then stick your headlight on the piece of cardboard in the oven for 5 minutes. After that, get some oven mits and pull it out and start prying the lens off. It helps if you use a pair of mechanix gloves or something since you'll be using your finger tips for the prying. Just make sure you take the metal tabs and screws out BEFORE the oven. If the seal isn't soft enough then repeat the oven process and leave it in for about 7 minutes that time. It'll stink but thats about it.

Anyone ever try "Spray Seal" (as seen on TV) in place of Plasti-Dip? Just wondering if it might be more durable. I have used Plasti-Dip spray on receiver parts and hitch components to keep the noise down and try to keep the rust out. Works fairly well but abrasion seems to take its toll. Spray Seal seems like a more robust product but might be more difficult to remove.

    Anyone?

Well I came I tried and I DERPED! I took a shot at doing the badges today and after 4 coats, drying 30mins between each and 30 more mins after final I peeled it off to reveal a major DERP. Plasti Dip over spray big time! and it came off my drivers side badge too, so I remasked it and sprayed it again. Right now its sitting that way in the garage. I think I just want to take the badges all the way off and paint em. I guess I will see how I feel tomorrow when I go back to fix my screw up...........
