The license plate will still be there when towing, its just flipped upward a bit.
The camera is what I'm banging my head about, I think it will likely end up in the license plate frame. I want to determine if I can just plug directly into factory wiring. Keeping it off the swing out would make the wiring easier and cleaner and allow it to be centered.
Auxilary lights are no sweat, I would just add tabs where requested. It is possible to put plugs into the tubes at a couple places where they are sealed and wired together for connections.

Awesome deal! When it comes time for the rear bumper I already know where I am going to get it from. Once you figure out what needs to be done to wire the camera it will probably be a lot easier to know what you can and cannot do.

What are the chances of a rear bumper that doesn't require cutting the side panels.

The standard replacement that does not require cutting bedsides is next on the list. It will have all of the same options, swing out etc. I will start working I. That in a few weeks once I am finished moving at the end of the month.

Work up a price on these HC bumpers. These Tacoma made on which years?? Just clarifying as I had not seen it in the many pages here.. and yes it would be a shame to loose that back-up camera.... Just how big is that tire on your swingout? It looks HUGE!

So the pricing for the Hi-Clearance is looking something like this:

    Base bumper 825.00
    Optional Hidden Hitch 150.00
    Optional Reverse Light cutouts 50.00
Swing out, basic starts at 400.00, includes tire carrier and basic rotopax mounts. Adding Nato Can holders etc are additional.
Powdercoat is 150.00 for base 75.00 for swing out

Are you still going to try to fit some 295's under there?

No idea, my next set of tires is up in the air. The super swamper ssr's look tasty. The 285's measure nearly 34" might give em a go. That might change before nightfall though. I love new tires and can never make up my mind. Mine are still in great shape though

I'd also like to see the factory rear camera somehow incorporated into the tire swing out, or bumper...such a great feature I've gotten used to using...

Those things look mean!! I like em. I'm still debating on 285s or 295s. the 295s I'm looking at are just over 33 so I'm a little scared of all the trimming that will be needed. I mean, you have 285s and you already went with the flared front fenders.....

The camera relocation will be pretty straight forward and easy. The hard part is going to be mounting it so that you get both vert/hor positioning correct so that the distance markers are still useful. Should just include making adjustments, backing up into a pole and then making another adjustment. :)

(in the rear view camera) I meant the green lines that outline your truck and the red and green lines that show how close you're getting to whatever is behind you.

Thanks for the details. The tailgate on the Tacoma is short (vertically) so the tire back there just looks huge. I suppose if we lowered the tire say 6" it would then be dragging on steep angles. Might have to stow the spare on a bed rack. just thinking it out...

Have no markers in my backup camera, just a view and no lines or borders.
