That's bad ass. I hope they sell it as a Toyota & not a Scion or a Lexus.

I'd assume this would end up as a Scion here in NA and Toyota else where, mainly because Scion is the "sporty" line from Toyota here in NA

Hybrid = sux. Would be nice if they made another straight six that rivaled the Nissan GTR.

Hybrid automatically = sucks, or are there particular reasons for your statement? Just curious. You can get a lot of torque out of electric motors.

F1 cars use hybrid technology (KERS), the Enzo successor will have KERS, Porsche 918 has KERS.

    Yea hybrids suck...

That looks awesome! Hopefully they are only looking to get a power train from BMW and that's all.

Toyota will apparently make the engine, BMW from what I've read is helping with suspension and handling

I wonder who Toyota will team up with to make a car next :) I personally think they are smart for going in with other companies on things like the BRZ/FRS. Something different in today's selection.

Just my opinion; or is that not appreciated around here?

I would rather have a car that can be build/tuned. This is more of a luxury car than a tuner car and I dont think it deserves to be the Supra sucsessor :notsure:. In fact, the FR-S is probably a better candidate

Truthfully, I was expecting somthing more akin to the Nissan GTR, not the Acura NSX ( <- also doesnt live up to the original).

I have faith that hybrid technology can be add without affecting the ability to tune it. The only draw back I see is weight and price.

Any car with the Supra badging will still be a tuner's car

I like how you are making impressions of two cars that aren't even in production yet
