    [IMG]Hey Guys,
I've been running a Katzkin Leather Group Buy on TW for 1 year as of today :) Most of the interest has been with the boyz with the Gen 2s but as a Gen 1 owner myself would like to get some additional excitement started. Available on this forum is a great DIY post to help get you through the install. Although the work was performed on a Gen 2, same techniques apply. I spent 6 mos. trying to get the rights from Toyota that will allow me to order complete kits with official TRD/TRD Sport Embroidery. I'll post a few pics of the 50+ kits that were ordered from fellow members to give you an idea of the endless possibilities. Katzkin offers 130+ colors along with custom textures such as suede, ostrich, carbon fiber etc. Pricing is as follows and I'll offer FREE shipping to the lower 48 for a limited time.

    Access Cab: $675

    Double Cab: $750 Deluxe
$850 Regular (contains more leather in rears only)

All kits come with the matching material to cover door panel inserts..

Options are available at an additioal cost:

    Two-tone $50
    Perforated Insert $25
    Contrast Stitching $25
    TRD/TRD Sport Embroidering $20/per seat
Complete Heated Seat kit $65/per seat
    Install Kit (Hog Rings/Pliers) $20

I accept payments via PayPal and kits typically take 10-12 business days to arrive at your place...

I am interested in getting a set for my 1999 ext. cab.

Do you offer in the same blue-grey color that was the shade of grey in the 98-00's? It is a hard grey to match up with......

You can PM me with reply if you wish.

I sell leather kits and can get Katzkin, CST as well as others. Do you also sell them or are just trying to put together killer deals for your forum friends?
I had coffee with the former Gen Manager of TRD this AM and know people in the TRD group. I also ran the TRD sport leather division for my former company.
I can order the stuff for you if you are interested. I have some of the badging left from the program, this is what the log looked like. I can ask about the program if their is enough interest.
I can order any year, make or model even some Japan stuff.
    Let me know

I can get what ever you want how ever you want it. Cheaper then anyone else. 2 tone, suede, Alcantara suede, con stitch, perf, seat heaters...

If you want to cruise over to Nashville, I can install it for you that same day.
$300 to install it, $350 if there are door panels.

Let me know what you want to do.

Cool. Do you have any pics? I am thinking about a two tone with red contrast stitching color scheme. Black perforated leather in the middle of the seats with a light grayish color on the outsides. Also black perforated leather for the door panel inserts. How much do you think a kit like that would cost shipped to my location? Thanks for the install offer, I would definitely do it if you were located much closer, but I just don't have the time to drive that far with my schedule and things going on right now.

I am working on a few projects right now, can look for pictures when I get a chance. They may not be of Toyota seats, but will give yo an idea of how it will look.
As far as cost there will be a base cost along with addition add on... I can get a better deal if I turn in a 3-4 orders at the same time.
Value kit is cheaper and recommended for older vehicles, to make it more affordable. The difference is the inserts are leather, the rest is vinyl. The color and texture are so close that 99% of the people can't tell the difference. Vinyl since it is man made can be made to withstand scratching and discoloration so for the back seat it is preferred, unless someone sits there all the time. Leather absorbs moisture ,hence the concentration of it on the front seats.
If you are going to install leather, I would also install seat heaters since the seat is already apart.

.Will collect pictures and try to upload, they didn't take last time.

Let me know what you want and how many leather kits there are. I also have TRD exterior badges, I'll include.

I use to run the TRD aftermarket leather program. FYI Katzkin was NOT authorized to produce the TRD logo, BUT I can get you Katzkin but without the logo. If they are making it, it is bootlegged.

If you want to call me 615 265 8156. Looking at the quotes from the thread I can beat their production prices by $50-$100 (the cheap prices were for blow out kits that were sold below cost to get rid of them and there are more, have 25 page list on excel). I can get kits for anything from 1950-2013, even Japanese and European models.... Prados, Hiluxsurfs, Soarers, Celsiors, Type X, Mark II, Corona, Avensis, Carina, Crown....Supra (Any year) to 1968 Mustang exact reproduction to 1950 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. I can also customize stuff; sew and install, have won awards at SEMA. Doing a Land cruiser this week.

Let me know, people hate to find a better deal AFTER they spend their hard earned cash.

    Try starting a new thread!

KATZKIN is the Most reputable name in the business...
I doubt they have a need to bootleg anything. If your trying to sell it for less, it is exactly that. Good luck

Why is this hilux guy trying to jack your thread!! Wtf!? What an ass. I wouldn't buy from him just due to his low character values. Only 5 posts and each one is to try and steal your business, not cool!

I'd report all his posts to a mod and they will be deleted. This type of thing is not tolerated here.

    GTFO!!

Ok, threadshitting isn't cool. Please start another thread if you've got something to offer.

    No they won't.

FWIW, Toyota is very stringent on who is authorized to use their TRD logo's, trust me I've tried. Unless Katzkin has written authorization from Toyota to use the TRD logo's they are in violation of copyright laws. Direct from Toyota

What ever........ I am trying to help you out . If you ARE NOT AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR FOR KATZKIN, I can get you and everyone who wants to do the do the group buy a better deal then the guy SELLING to you. So, no I am not trying to JACK your deal.

As far as the leather industry I don't NEED an education on who is who and how they do business, I have been in it since day one, even before Katzkin's founder Mitch Katz , who was my neighbor, he tried to hire me 3 times. I was at SEMA partying with all the Katzkin boys in the Elvis suite at the Hilton. So back it up little boss, you don't know what you are talking about.

I was from the first meeting and worked out the deal WITH TRD for the program and designed the seats for their program. I saw them every week in product development, I became best friends with the GM because of our relationship. I myself did their show cars with my own hands so don't TELL me who is authorized to use the logo. Have any of you ever been to Toyota Corperate or TRD? I have had to have Katzkin served twice for using the Roush logo illegally. Don't even get me started on Nissan and Katzkin. Serving them was a weekly deal, they have gotten better.

I can make a phone call and make sure NO one can use it, Yes I still know people at Toyota. They gave me a show car every year, and had me build one of theirs. I see the former head of TRD every week for breakfast. The actual Logo authorization ended with the program, but there was a friendly don't ask don't tell, end to it.

So stop being so touchy, I'm trying to HELP YOU, unless you want to spend more money then you need to.

I am not expecting an apology just to be cool, If you have a solid deal worked out with a distributor buddy just say so, I really don't care, thought I'd try and help you out, I thought that was what the forum was about, not everyone cussing at each other.

I'll be looking for other threads.

    HLS
