That's good to here just wish they weren't so expensive, or atleast had a street tire in this size. The km2's sure are sharp though but from what I hear they are little scary in the rain

Just gonna say that I frickin' LOVE these sized tires. Absolutely love them. They been excellent in sand, dry, wet, mud, etc. Drove home through snow the other night and felt no slippage (not sure how a mass amount of snow would be, though.

Yes but with 1st Gen TRDs (4.5" BS)
    Yes with longer bump stops.

Narrower than your stock tires, wider than mine.

    I agree.
The only time I had problems was on a trail with 1' to 2' of snow on the uphill sections.
They worked but would have worked better if I took the time to air down more. See post #857

These tires are about 2 1/2 in taller than my stock tires which are 265/70/16 but they are .39 of an inch less in width so that should clear the uca's fine right? The height I'm still not sure on though, really really wanna try these but scared they won't fit. Which I could crank the 5100's up to 2.5. But then I might need uca's too. Tires and uca's could really put a strain on my girlfriends engagement ring. And that could cause me to get my nuts cut off by her lol

My only qualm is inability to drive on heavy ice often. Up in the Dakotas we get some lovely weather about half the year and I don't want/need an MT, i want/need an AT. If it wasn't for that I would have gotten this size in the first place. I'm still hoping someone comes out with a 255/80r16 in a decent AT since these will always be MTs. Too many negative reviews on the STs to "give em a shot" for how much they cost. . .

Someone mentioned (I think in this thread) that the Cooper S/T Maxx are coming in this size sometime this year.

Edit: Here it is. I'm thinking I might switch to these once my KM2's wear down.

I will probably do the same.

Funny I was was sayin that they handled fine in the rain. Someone pulled out in front of me on the way to work and I had to hit the brakes a little hard and they locked up on me. Scary

Your nuts are safe if you find a good guy to do your alignment.
I'm at 3" with stock UCAs and it drives fine.

Yup. I air mine down for whatever terrain and they've worked great in all! Lost some chunks on a very rocky trail two weeks ago, but I also didn't air down at all that time.
ooooOOOOOOoooooo..... may check those out, too, thanks for the info!

Also, just rotated mine for the first time in 5k miles. Alignment seems back to almost normal. lol

Well Toyota decided to put a variety of different tire sizes on Tacoma's depending on model but I'm thinking the actual suspension design is the same across all of them so if my stock 265/70R16's fit on my truck they should fit on yours and therefor the narrower 255 will fit any model as well (assuming the truck is lifted)

Well the alignment shop got the caster set at +3* but couldn't get the camber in line. Is that an adjustment of the ball joint on the LR UCA? Because they said there's nothing they can do.
