I don't know why people say there will be no rubbing. Your gonna rub the mudflaps and your going to rub the frame if you turn sharp with that size. 5100's won't change that. I have the same tire size and 5100's up front set at 1.75 and still have a little rubbing. Your not hurting anything so just go with it. If it bothers you to bad take off the front mudflaps and maybe you will be a little more at ease.

Yeah, not sure why that was said either. One reason I went with the bigger tire was because I had planned on going to the bilsteins because I did the TSB rear and wanted to level it out. But, this size was also actually cheaper than factory size.

Why wouldn't adding the 1.75" billies up front not fix it? Just not enough lift?

Thanks for the advise though!

Not sure of how a lift would help. I'm sure someone will chime in. My way of thinking is that the suspension is pushed vertically up the tire location isn't actually moving. I guess that guys that aren't rubbing are adding wheel spacers to push the tire away from the frame and control arms, removing mud flaps and then trimming away where they actually do touch. I'm basically in the same boat as you, I have 4 leafs in the rear added the bilies to the front at 1.75. The little bit of rubbing I get doesn't bother me because i'm easy on it. I'm not offroading either so its not a problem for me really.

Making a shelf for my ARB fridge. Was going to put it behind the driver seat then decided to put it behind the passenger seat for more room for it to sit.

    Platform down

Bottom compartment access when fridge will not be in the truck, but platform will remain

I still need to carpet it and find a way to bolt it down. Right now it is held in place under the factory sub box

Noticed my throttle response was sluggish, gas mileage dropping, and overall satisfaction of driving along with it. After a 2 min search on youtube, I came across a helpful video. I chose the Bosch Iridium spark plugs and the job was a piece of cake for only $53 (plugs, lube, anti-seize). Much easier than the last spark plug update on a 2001 Ford Ranger 3.0. Already notice improved throttle response. While I was on my mechanic/performance kick, I purchased a K&N Aircharger (Part# 63-9025) for about $220 on eb@y. Should install it next week. Already looking down the road at performance exhaust. Magnaflow, MBRP, and BORLA sound better than the flowmaster, at least on the internet sound clips/videos.

I also have 265/70/17's, had to take the mudflaps off the front, and I put Billies on at 1.75. Now no rubbing at all even full turn. Didn't need to use wheel spacers or anything.
