Yep, 2 true Freshmen & 2 RS Freshmen. Couple of them played a good bit and another played special teams. The other kid not so much. Stupid... oh well, 4 more slots for the 2014 recruiting class just opened up.

Stupid f'king kids making stupid f'king decisions.

All indefinitely suspended. None likely to ever return to the team.

LOL... obvious dig at our rep for grayshirting. But seriously, the only kid I'm aware of that's taking a grayshirt is a 4* OL that tore his ACL during his Senior season (HS). I hear he thinks he's ready to play... maybe he gets his scholarship now rather than next year?

:D How many gray shirted last year though that otherwise would be forced off the team? Just saying, the SEC has a nasty habit of signing these kids and having them gray shirt.

Well, the teams that are known for it tend to win more :notsure: We don't grayshirt players as often and we don't win as often. I see a correlation between the two. Then again, we are Mississippi State and therefore we suck at football. We'll kick all of your asses at baseball though.

I haven't heard of a grayshirt coming out of Oregon? USC hasn't had any instances of it unless a player, as mentioned in a post above, is medically unable to play in that next year of ball.

Yes, I know Oregon isn't a traditional power school, but a lot of schools/conferences don't allow you to sign any more players than scholarships available. Pac-12 is one of them.

    Edit: Older link....

Doubt it. Every place, except maybe BYU, is gonna have an idiot act up. Saban will clean house if he needs to. I don't see Miles being able to clean his messes as well as Saban can clean his. I doubt there will be anymore major problems like this at Bama.

You mean the ones that we hear about, don't you? Not the stuff that gets swept under the rug in 'Bama... And no, Saban won't clean house...

I suppose you own a tin foil hat too? Saban runs a relatively clean program. Much cleaner than UGA. You mad?

Doubt it, the only thing worse than bad publicity is no publicity. When was the last time someone talked about State?

    wut?

Saban's already indefinitely suspended all four players. I imagine they'll be all the way off the team soon.

I assume you know of things that have been swept under the rug if that's what you're accusing the program of doing... so what have you heard? I'm interested, b/c I don't pay terribly close attention, and I'm not a member of any sports-related message boards, so clearly I'm out of the loop.

You should go back to school and see if you can get on the team. I would imagine you should have eligibility left :notsure:
