They have told media that the fire started from inside the cabin after they approached and tried to get in. Why are they trying to cover up the fact that they set that fire?

 

I believe the fire was started by the LEO's.

Single gunshot heard before the fire leads me to believe it didn't matter, either way.

The world will never know the full story behind this man, but I gotta say, he intrigued me from day 1.

 

With all that fire you would think the body would be harder to identify.

Plus I would assume they would leave the body in place for a couple hours while doing some sort of on-scene report/investigation.

They are also saying that tear gas was thrown into the cabin (some media sources). If this is the case, the fire could have started inside.

I haven't seen anything saying that Dorner started the fire, or that it specifically started inside the cabin.

 

KTLA is streaming coverage of Dorner on their website and aren't carrying SOTU.

 

Rumor has it they are pulling a body out of what's left of the cabin.

 

They dont want the criminals to learn police tactics for this kind of stuff, thats why they told the news to stop showing it (which they didnt listen), thats why they will say the fire was either an accident or started by dorner.

 

Multiple reports say a single shot was heard BEFORE the fire broke out.

Sounds like his last shot, and the rest was ammo ignited by the fire.

I don't think it's a confirmed ID. But if they pull a body that appears to be as large as Dorner, 6+' 270 lbs, then that may be what they're releasing.

I'm seeing a lot of "body believed to be", no "body confirmed as" type of headlines.
