Damn... That's horrible. 14 plants to close. I feel so bad for all the employees of the company. They're in the crappiest position.

It's not just the company employees... it's all the suppliers / haulers / etc that will be out of work. It's gonna snow ball....

I thingk they deserve it, and they should have run the company better, but I think this will be felt all over the nation. :(

I just don't get how congress ran the automakers over the coals about how they ended up where they are, yet they just handed over $$$$$$$$$$ over to the banks/fannie/freddie with no restrictions.....

the automakers were only making the vehicles that people wanted when gas was cheap and they had a job

Well,, yes. I feel the big three compromised reliability, and other things in lou of larger paychecks.....Ultimatley, they are failing because they are not giving consumers what they want, and they are running the companies like shit....Not to mention the Unions...

I am union worker & am pro-union if it is done right. The UAW is not the reason the big 3 are going down, but they are absolutley not & have not helped matters.

Toyota, TM closed around $80. today. Th 52 week HI-LOW is $106-$55
