my old HS got a $15k grant for recording equipment and software

big mixing board with DI's, computer with SONAR/Cakewalk on it, tons of nice mics...made my demo on it

miss that

for a "low-income" high school with 10 years since it's band class was canceled, it was totez amazing haha

I did a demo cd in a legit studio once too, that was awesome. one of those bajillion dollar 100 input mixers yada yada

recorded with 5 mics and a DI, I could hear my hair moving through the air before the master

it does, but I'm not part of the music program.

 

yea but audio guys are always looking for people to record. Im sure if you asked someone would. Only shitty part is finding a student that actually knows what they are doing haha

My dad sent it out to a few people, a university professor ended up wanting me to join the program and I got an offer for a Juliard interview

but I cant read music for shit, never trained in music theory so as far as actual music I'm retarded

yeah, if I ever find myself in a SHTF situation financially, it's my fallback plan. performance is just too "iffy" for me to bet 100% of my future on (IMHO)

 

Yea its definitely an area where you have to pay your dues and truly just love if and the experiences it brings to do it. Same goes for sounds stuff usually.

thats an SSL console board. Not sure on if its a G serise or E

and those are Yamaha NS10s monitors(speakers). Ironically pretty cheap. Only about 400 a pair. Everyone swears by them for being the best monitor out that. IF you can make it sound good on those..it'll sound good on anything they say. I want to get some. Its funny cause they are just cheesy ones compared to like some bad ass Focal or Genlec ones haha

Ya a bit....but at the same time still doesn't give me a solid idea where it all goes...does any part of the bumper rest/bolt to the front cross member? Where all is the bumper bolted to the truck at? The 2 outside pieces that go to the stock bolt locations of course, but what else? The 2 flat pieces with 2 holes? Do those rest on the x member?

When you built it you started with the center section right? So how did you secure that while you built it up and got the wings on? Since it appears the factory mounts go on the wings.
