So was it just a formatting problem?

I don't think anyone bothers with the "press 1 for English" these days, because all you get is a foreigner who barely speaks English.

YES. Got from a friend, but looks like I have to shave .030 off the race according to a few sorces online. But it all depends on the housing tolerances. Either way the 3rds coming out I have a bearing screaming back there. so (below)
    Wheel Bearings
    Axle Seals
    Drums
    Shoes
    Hardware
Only reason for brake is one because im in there mine as well and secondly I didn't have power the other day driving around and found my ebrake on :(

I got to test out the suspension on my new tacoma last night...I was pulling into Lowes off Rt 9 and instead of plowing the entrance the plow king cleared the ISLAND between the entrance and exit...
Luckily I was only doing about 10mph when I hit it but holy shit, fix that....
I had a flashlight in my truck and it turns out it was a 3 inch sloped granite curb so I was fine but when I left I checked it out with the light and there were car scrapes and plastic bits all over the island...great job plowing!

I honestly don't know. I went through the recover process 4 times with the new hard drive and the last time, it finally worked. I didn't do anything different than I did the other times. It seems like it'd be kind of hard to screw up, it tells you, insert disk 1 of 4 then tells you when you switch to the next disk, installs everything, restarts itself and then you're up and running.

John, I hear you, I was talking to someone overseas. They tried selling me a 12 month extended warranty for $120 in case this happens again. After the 3rd time saying no and him still pushing, I lost it on him. I told him there's no way in hell I'm paying almost 50% of the product cost for a warranty on a product that, for all intents and purposes, is already obsolete and also, if this thing craps out again in the next year, and I quote, "If this thing dies again, you won't get a call from me, in fact, if this thing dies again within the next 12 months, that tells me that you guys have no regard for the longecity of your product and I promise that I will never own another HP product. I shouldn't have to buy an extended warranty to cover my ass from you making a sub-par product". He dropped it after that rant but had to stay on the phone with me for another hour waiting for things to download, talk about awkward silence

I've had 2 HP laptops. Never had any major problems with them. First one I bought for college, lasted about 5.5 yrs. 2nd I bought afterwards, and it's still kicking 5 years later. Only thing I've needed to do is reformat once due to a virus, and get a new power cord cause the original shit the bed. Otherwise i've had pretty good luck with them.

My work laptop was a dell, which was and had a hard time running some of the finite element analysis programs and modelling programs I use. Probably a 5 year old laptop with I got the new one. Now I have a Lenovo, and it's the biggest pile of crap ever. Constantly freezing, crashing, slow as shit. DO not want.
