Everything looked fine, as for the Dakars i'm not sure, wanted to upgrade the rear and i lost some lift in front from all the weight so i'm going to put in 886's and see if it helps.
Hopfully everything shows up on Monday, i have the compressor already, just need to find time to install it.

I like Windows XP. I had our tech guy put it on my new lenovo. It just wasn't powerful enough to run windows 7 and finite element analysis/ modelling stuff. My personal laptop has windows vista, and besides it asking permission for shit every 2 seconds, I haven't had issues with it.

4 disks? I haven't had to use multiple disk to install Windows since Win 3.1. My laptop is about 6 years old now. It actually came with a recovery disk of WinXP. All it does is install Windows with no options to choose during install, and doesn't even include drivers or any other software the laptop came with.

    Linux FTW!

Sitting in my toolbox. If you have a 8" rear diff and want it ill sell it to you if this bearing clearance and tolerance doesn't work out. So far so good. This was next to free 6k miles on his 3rd

Interesting. I know the supra LSD was a popular swap on the toyota mini-trucks. Be interesting to see if it works on a first gen. Is it gear driven like a Quaife, or does it use clutch packs?

Can't wait to see the new setup!

Yeah, I don't know what each of the 3 disks did, they were the ones that formatted the drive. The 4th disk was all the drivers.

Can anyone suggest a good tow strap? Have some extra $$ from my tax return so I'm purchasing a recovery receiver and tow strap. Preferably something I can order off Amazon since I have Amazon Prime. Thanks in advance.

I just got those 2 on Amazon last week. Get this tow strap. Huge, long and beefy.

Then get this one. Huge and heavy and beefy. Solid piece of recovery shackle.

I like mine. I was told our Tacoma's MAF don't like the K&N oiled filters.

Yeah I heard that too. That's why I got the dry one so i didn't want have to oil it and get codes on the dash. How do you like it. Does the engine breath better. My truck engine is shaking alot in park, feels like it putting so I wanna change the plugs, oil change, new filter, clean the trottle body and maf sensor and see it that helps.

When I installed mine I also took out the charcoal filter. It might have given me slightly better throttle response and maybe 1 mpg better, maybe. It might do more for you since you don't have VVT.

That's good. I'm really don't think it's gonna do anything but if the engine breaths alittle better then I'm happy. Plus I can use it for a lifetime so that good. What sucks is the I don't know what has been done to the truck. The dealer said the brakes and fame and o2 sensor was done but that about it.! I guess I'll just change stuff and make sure it's running good. Better to be prepared then nothing.

Did the Magnaflow exhaust do anything for your 2nd gen, other than a nicer exhaust note?

Better response for sure. The engine felt better and going up hills felt alittle quicker. I loved it. I just put a magnaflow on my new truck on Monday lol. Felt a difference right away. Don't buy flowmaster. I lost power with it

Flowmaster is all about the noise. Seems to be a popular choice for Ford owners.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I got the same strap that miguel did, but i got a different reciever shackle, i bought the all black smittybuilt one, i think its a little cheaper but it has a little wiggle room and doesnt fit tight. Dont forget to get a receiver pin
