has anyone else noticed that it seems for the last week that LAPD was always trying to steal the spotlight and publicity on everything over the other departments ?

    dorner isnt even lapd anymore.

the first murders were in irvine.

second shootings involved corona and riverside officers in their own jurisdiction

    third shootings were in torrance

ID and boat story was in san diego

truck on fire and escape was in big bear

entire shoot out was in SB county

HOWEVER, during this whole time it was always LAPD giving press conferences and charlie beck on tv with LA mayor villaregosa.

basically almost none of this stuff involved LAPD or was there jurisdiction !!

last night was classic when the fish and game guy was trying to give a press conference and answer questions about THEIR officers in the shootout and the LAPD guy tried to chime in and the reporter was like "we arent asking you"

A possible attempt at trying to make themselves look better after Dorner revealed that LAPD was possibly corrupt?

See what I posted in red. The reason this was so centered on the LAPD, is because he was a former employee and stated that his was specifically targeting the LAPD, their Officers, and their Families. His reason for doing this was because he felt he was some kind of a Martyr against injustices done by the LAPD.

Of course it's going to center on the LAPD. What are you getting at?

In regards to jurisdiction, if SB county Sheriff needed mutual aid, it's most likely going to come from LAPD or LACSO. Regardless of jurisdiction.

Dorner was terrorizing/targeting the members of the LAPD, everyone else, in his eyes, was collateral, that's why they focused on them in the media.

Dorner only shot one LAPD member and that was in another jurisdiction.
