He had a list of LAPD members he wanted to kill.

He terrorized them, by killing the retired LAPD captain's daughter and her fiance first.

His goal was to scare them, and make the LAPD think that he was not only coming for them, but for their families... sons, daughters, wives, husbands.

In regards to jurisdiction, if SB county Sheriff needed mutual aid, it's most likely going to come from LAPD or LACSO. Regardless of jurisdiction.

Dorner was terrorizing/targeting the members of the LAPD, everyone else, in his eyes, was collateral, that's why they focused on them in the media.

Where's you credits/site's where your pulling the information on what Dorner "Allegedly" did? So far i haven't seen one "fact" that he killed 3 people or threatened their families.

if you could site your sources that be great.... besides sites saying he "Allegedly" which is assuming.

What's your point Colt? Didn't get enough attention in the Kate Upton is too fat thread so you're bringing the controversy in here?

Ryan's on point, Dorner declared war against the LAPD, unconventional and asymmetrical war, meaning he wasn't just gonna go shoot up a precinct. If Dorner wanted to kill LA cops, he very well could have and we know he wanted to, but he wanted to bring fear and terror before doing that....best way: Start with civilians close to senior LAPD members, strike fast and quick, guerrilla warfare style. And Dorner did just that.

OK, dorner claimed to kill the 2 people, is "allegedly" the one that opened fire on a parked police car, killing one of the two officers.

He also "allegedly" called that retired LAPD captain a few days later to tell him he should've done a better job protecting his daughter.

Dorner "alleges" that the LAPD wronged him. Is there any proof of that?

Please cite your sources where he "allegedly didn't" shoot and kill these 3 people.

Again you're assuming he didn't do it, when in fact, he had a written statement indicating his actions and intentions to wage war against the LAPD.

The cabin caught on fire and authorities believe Dorner was burned inside. A body was discovered but authorities have not confirmed it was Dorner.

SWAT officers surrounding the cabin were under a "constant barrage of gunfire," one source said. “He put himself in that position. There weren’t a lot of options.”

Hoping to end the standoff, law enforcement authorities first lobbed "traditional" tear gas into the cabin. When that did not work, they opted to use CS gas canisters, which are known in law enforcement parlance as incendiary tear gas. These canisters have significantly more chance of starting a fire. This gas can cause humans to have burning eyes and start to feel as if they are being starved for oxygen. It is often used to drive barricaded individuals out.
