Just installed the trd exhaust. It sounds awesome. Can't attest for much performance. Appalachian Offroad just installed the toytec lit and the truck looks awesome. Definitely on a Tacoma Hugh right now.

I was gonna get a TRD setup but found a good deal on a lightly used Magnaflow catback...hopefully I like it...

    Mike:
Why are you changing out the exhaust? Just curious on my part.

I was looking at headers formy 4 banger but realized that I needed to change the intake to mke headers a viable option for improved exhaust flow. A supercharger is not really in my future.

In all my years of owning and modifying vehicles, I've never had an exhaust. I figured I'd give this one a try since it's a popular brand, almost new and a good price. If I don't like it or it drones too much, I'm getting it for a good enough price I can sell it for $20 more on here and it's still a deal for someone else from the prices I've seen.

I'd like to do the full headers, y-pipe, intake as well, but that will be pieced together over time. Apparently the V6 headers are the biggest pain in the ass to do, Steve and Louie were doing a pretty good job of dissuading me at the DE meet.

I have no supercharger in my future so don't feel too bad. I put too many miles on my truck and forced induction always shortens the life of something...

I have the stainless magnaflow. It's awesome. Way better than flowmaster for me. The 40 was wayyy too loud.

This supports most of the reviews I have heard. My biggest concern is if it drones on the highway with the 6 speed since I am at higher revs than the auto at the same speed. I am routinely doing 60-80 for miles at a time. We will see...

Which lift from them did you go with? And what size you go with? Trying to lift mine soon and trying to get a feel for what I should do.

Rain = wet pavement which in return reduces the amount of friction that one can have when needing to stop. I can't believe it. My wife was just creamed In the new car..uugghhh. I just want to build a tank for her. She is okay. Subaru has a crushed rearend. I guess time for a hefty offroad bumper. Damn it..
