installed a shift knob out of a Mazda 6 I think it was? almost looks like the newer Taco knobs with the silver strip down the center. But it's smaller and the "leather" material is split down the middle... not sure that I like it... still on the search for that "perfect one", lol

not a very good pic, but get's the point across

Whenever I wash my truck, I like to drive up on those little plastic oil change ramps and shoot it down. Just the front tires. It helps all the water drain out from the frame and bed too. One other major benefit to using the ramps is that the water hose does not get stuck under the tires :D

Made some sliders for my truck this last wknd. I incorporated the factory running boards for on the top to still act as a step. Also added some weather tech mats for the front and weather tech window guards for the front driver and passenger side.

Pulled my drive shaft apart last night to replace the U-Joints and Center Support (Carrier) Bearing. Then dropped my female end of my slip yoke off at a local shop to have them add a 90 degree grease fitting to it. Then put it back together tomorrow.

You welded onto your frame? I thought that was a no-no as it'll change the metal properties at that spot, and potentially cause strength issues.

but very nice design for the sliders!

How else do you attach sliders? :notsure: Unless you're drilling holes and attaching that way

Well most of the brackets under our trucks are welded on and and cab mounts as well. Being a certified welder for over 18 years and knowing how to weld them on is a plus so I should be fine. Our frames can handle being welded on if it is done properly and by some one who knows how to weld. But thank You for being concerned.
