265/75/16 they also said they have 30 day ride guarantee so if I don't like em I can bring back and swap them. He said the 10 ply's don't have a shipping charge since he can get them quicker, the 6 and 8 plys he would have to charge me shipping for and wouldn't be here by saturday.

30" of snow. Duratracs floating on top of 10-12". I did get stuck a few times turning around but i was surprised how easily i made it through this deep snow with the 285s and the e-locker helped out also

I think the 8 and 10 ply's don't have white letters if I remember reading right.

    I think that's a pretty good price.

You're gonna love them. My Duratracs have 44,000 on them now and are getting close to end of life. But, I did plow 24" of snow this weekend and even got my truck stuck in a ditch while plowing and managed to drive it out. With my Duratracs when they were new I wouldn't even have gotten stuck in the first place. These have been amazing tires. :mudding:

i put the white lettering out to throw it some contrast as i think my truck had too much black... these are 285/70/17 C Load rated i have about 800 miles on them, they had a nice hum at first... now after 800 miles, i dont know if they got more quiet, or i just got used to it. i also installed a TRD cat back last week and i think i hear that more than the hum

Discount does not charge for shipping. The only reason you would have to pay for any part of the shipping is if you absolutely have to have them by Saturday, which means expediting the order. If the C's are what you really want, and can wait until next week, you could have them without paying for shipping.

When I called back and told him I'd check around and see if I could find them somewhere else he told me to try the 10 ply's he said if you don't like them bring them back and swap them out for no charge, they have a 30 day drive happy thing.

Probably wouldn't hurt to try, but Es are overkill and kills pep and mpgs IMO. My Cs were amazing and lasted over 50k but drive me nuts with hum and vibes. From what I've read on here however it seems that perhaps the Es are smoother running FWIW.

Edit: of course I haven't retired them yet

I really like the whites out on your truck and the look of the Kranks & Duratrcs! Where did you get 285/70-17 Load Range C Duratracs? The only ones that size I see are all Load Range D.

Discount tire direct. I'm pretty not 100% sure they are only C Load in 285/70/17s. Other sizes were D or E. main reason why I went with a 17inch wheel, because of the duratrac a in a c load for this exact size

When you get a chance, could you take a peek at one of your tires and verify it says Load Range C? I just can't find Duratracs in 285/70-17 in anyting but Load Range D. I'd buy Load Range C ones in a heartbeat if I could find them as I don't need an 8 or 10 ply tire.
