    No the trail is on the west side of the stream..til the edge of the lake. Then you cross and ride the edge of the lake up a bit till you get to small Gooselake.

    True. Plus there are more road we can hit. Well depend on what time we get done with Morrison and such really. And when we get to Cooke city.

    Why I think if you can only make one part, lander would be the most fun for you.

    The pic I posted is the stream, the lakes barely in the top of the pic. Those are just the two stream crossing. E trail containers up the east side of the main lake all the way to the smaller one.

    Wow, I leave you guys for 30 minutes, read another thread, come back, and there's another page of posts?! You TW guys are crazy posters.

    m3bassman: when you're making those lines in Google Earth - you can save those lines... in fact, it should be prompting you to save those lines... right-click and select 'Elevation Profile'. That should bring up the "nifty elevation thing" :D

    To export the lines, after they are saved in Google Earth, right-click and click 'Save As...", then export as a .kmz and upload to here...

    Let me know if you have issues or need more clarification.

    trace out the path and name it. it should be listed in the "temporary places" on the left of the screen. drag it into the "my places" list. right click and select "save place as". start a reply here, select attachments, navigate to documents to retrieve the kmz file. post. done.

    I'll put something together tonight. It won't be as nice as some of the maps as I don't have google earth and my laptop is too damn old to run that program.
