Want to go to a 3" lift.

I currently am running the standard HD Bilstein's with the 2.5" spacers. So far so good no problems BUT I did buy a full set of Bilstein 5100's front and rear. The rears are installed plus I have an AAL in the rear to get my 2.5" lift there too. I want to go to a full 3" when I put the new fronts on.

I already have a 1" diff drop and sway bar relocator. What is the easiest and most economical way for me to go up that extra 1/2"?? Should I put a Toytec spacer on top of the strut? Or a new set of coils (I can't afford FULL coil overs right now I am MOD poor). Is there a set of OME's that would work? What about getting the rear the rest of the way up?? Are there any further corrections I have to make..i.e. longer brake lines or lowering anything else??

Frustrated..HELP!!

you can get a set of half inch lift enhancers from wheelersoffroad.com for pretty cheap. easy install too.

 

Hmm. I didn't know they sold them. I looked at some Toytecs but all they had was 1/4" and 3/4". Thanks

I am also saving for my new UCA's.

 

So, if I do that with the front that gives me 3". I contacted Toytec to see if they have OME 881's for an 06. Now, on the rear. I already have the 2.5" AAL, is it safe to do a 1" body lift too? I have heard mixed opinions on this.

 

me personally...i wouldnt go with a body lift....but thats just me.

 

881 coils are for first gens..........i think you would need 884 coils.

 

I was on the OME website and I couldn't find any specifics on model's, so I was guessing at which one I needed. I don't like the idean of using a body lift on the rear but really, what other option do I have to get and additional 1/2-1" of lift back there??

 

you can always go with a 1.5 inch aal in the rear for added lift.

 

I am running an AAL now that takes it to 2.5". You mean swap it out for a larger one??
