**South Carolina Meet**Feb 23,2013

so it looks like i'll have a chance to come down the stink hole part of the state for this meet. for the sake of saving me time reading, what important info do i need to know?

do people have to reserve individual camp spots? what use is the shelter going to give? etc.?

since it is about 2.5 hour drive one way just staying the day isn't worth it.

This is not a camping meet. The important info is in the first post.

The shelter has picnick tables, a grill and a fire place. You will need a few ( I think 3) dollars cash for park admission.

This is simply a Meet and greet with some BS talk and light grilling. The Camping/Fishing meet has not yet been created into a thread as of yet as i want this one to go down first and hopefully collaborate with the fellas who come down about it as well.

admission into the park is like 2$ + bring a couple dollars to cover the cost of us using the shelter for the day.

 

and now it will be me and chad installing my rear lift and cuttin off his front bumper and just givin it to me

 

And with that some light mods will be taking place as well...

Aw well hopefully my Retrofit is done in time for the meet, im anxious, James, is your kit at your home yet?

 

Tracking says the kit left Atlanta today. Should be here Saturday or maybe even tomorrow.

 

I figured it was in Atlanta. im only 2 hours away from atlanta, i may get started this weekend.

 

I may hold off on mine. I have a trade in the works for a silver sport model identical to what I have now.

Mail doesn't get delivered on Saturday anymore I thought or has that happened yet? I just remember seeing about it on the news. But they did say the post office will still be open so you could go by there and pick it up.

 

Yes sir. I was originally looking for a silver sport model when I got this one.

That takes effect August 1st, but it only affects normal letters and such. Boxes will still be delivered on Saturdays. Makes no sense to me.

well my interests has dropped, 5 hours of driving for 5 hours of hanging out isn't the ratio i like. but wouldn't mind seeing a rear lift installed and learn something. well see how bored i am come next sat. i'll give a heads up fri. if im in or not.

my vote is more of an upstate loc. for the camping meet assuming it happens. maybe table rock?

Nice Cam! The electrical side of it is all plug and play pretty much the last of the steps. I would give ya a hand but promised the wife valentines day stuff this weekend so I can go to the meet next weekend. lol shoot me a pm if you got problems though.

 

Okey dokey, Im going to buy painting stuff and paint the lights this evening.

What should i use to seal the lights?

I'd like to help. although i don't know much but what i've read on here and on retrofit source. but i've got 2 tests next week (i'm studying now . . . or taking a break) and other junk to do so won't be free til next Friday.

 

You can use 3M Windo-Weld, or the original stuff, I personally used the original stuff and havent had a problem with them even through snow, rain, and several pressure washes on my truck
