If I were to get the OME lift kit, would it be ok to get the 886 coils if I didn't get a bumper replacement? Would I be better off getting the 885s if I were just getting a grill guard or a bull bar? Does anyone have experience with this kit? Can you run 285's without the top spacer? Also is anyone running this kit without replacing UCA's and how is it?

The 885's would be fine for you. The 886 is for a winch and heavy aftermarket bumper.

You dont "need" to replace the UCA's, but the alignment will be off. The 886's are a 650# spring rate, while the 885's are a 590# spring rate. Stock is 540#. The higher the rate, the more firm the ride on the street. To fit 285's, your gonna need the 10mm lift enhancers, and I will suggest if you do this, definatly replace the UCA's, with ones that have a Uniball.

You really should replace the shocks. THe stock shocks are not up to the task of dampening the OME springs.
