Long Travel BS Thread

Soooo i got my truck up on the lift in auto today and got to take a close look at my spindles... theyre cracked to shit it looks like. Where should i start for new spindles? Custom tube works has shitty reviews, but Its got to be reasonably priced....

dezertrangers says one can weld to the forged spindles if you preheat as well as let them cool slowly... but gusseting them would really just be a temporary fix and probably not worth the time

 

If its the 5 lug, I know a guy sellin the total chaos fully fabbed spindles for cheap .

as someone mentioned before, buy a project truck. or buy an already built truck.

 

Don't listen to them. You can go LT when ever you want. Even before you hit 9k...

Just be prepared. Don't be like most people and go front LT, the sell the truck.

ill let you know i'm looking constantly for 3.0 x 18 4-5 tubes and 12 c/os as well.

 

Maybe post WTB threads and bump them up every few days. I originally tried finding stuff used but took too much time constantly checking, then the days I didn't check someone would list them and sell that day. Said fuck it and my shop got me a good deal since I purchased with everything else and bought new.
