Dang, Skygear, that looks good. You have just ruined my lunch that was looking appetising this morning when I packed my lunch box, but now it's pretty bland looking in comparison...
Just kidding, but yes, it looks good.

All the seafood we harvest ourselves when we can. Frogs are the same. Whole pigs and once a year we buy a whole cow.

Mix that in with the deer and turkey I hunt and it makes for good food

We dry our own fish sometimes too. If there's leftovers I repurpose them. Lobster - lobster bisque or pasta, etc.

Nope. I'm a home maker now. I just feed the family and take care of my children. Been cooking since I was in the single digits. Never really liked fast food and realized if I want something cooked right, do it myself.

Everything looks good. I wish I had more time to cook, I just dont. I started to make home made baked beans, got 8-10 hours to go. I doubled the recipe and will freeze what ever is left over. I am also going to smoke 2 briskets and a pound of bacon.

Nice! believe it or not, most of the meals are less than an hour (more like 20min) to cook. If its a baking thing, set it and forget it.

I had a buddy that had an oven that he set to come on at a specific time. So he would prep the meal, put it in the oven, set the timer, and when he got home, it was just finishing up.

^^That oven sounds awesome!!! I probably would be very nervous that it would burn my house down though, that would not be good!!!!

LOL, I hear you. I had thought about doing something similar with a timer and a manual oven. That would be the cheapest way. The DIGITAL oven I have wouldn't work that way. But a manual one, you could set it to the right temp with a dial, then turn it off with the timer. Then have the timer come on and turn of after a certain time.

I used one of these for my fish tank when I was out of town so they got fed.
