    Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
    it's the TRD aluminum skid. it is good for looks, but will crumple if hit.

    That seems strange to me that it would go on top of the other one if i'm understanding what your saying. I've never really paid that much attention to the skid but I could tell this one looked a little different. What do those run new do you know?

    it goes over top of the other b/c it's simply an aesthetic/dress up piece. i think new are like $200-250?

    i'd imagine it should, but i'm nowhere near 100%. they came out with a newer add on skid for the 2012-2013s i saw at the dealer the other week. not sure how it compares. i'd check the online trd parts stores and see about year models and all.
