Does anyone have stock Struts and springs they don't mind letting go of for free or cheap.

    I think I have a damaged strut.

Well when I changed out my springs last time I messed with my truck, I noticed the driver side spring was bent. I didn't know what would cause that so I went ahead and put on the larger stiffer spring.

Now I am starting to think that something is wrong with the Strut itself. Maybe a damaged perch. When I had the springs off I cycled the strut and didn't feel any binding so I assumed it was ok.

I like Joe Hernandez. He took care of my leaf spring TSB and just last week the blower motor TSB and rear brake TSB for squealing. He ordered the parts for the brakes, so hopefully I'll be going back this week.

I think Tucker mentioned he likes Mike Quinn (I think that's his name). Either way, Toyota of Boerne is great. I wouldn't take my Taco or the wife's Avalone anywhere else.

Yea, my wife said they're great to her. I do my own maintenance,we've bought 4 vehicles there, and the last time I was there I went with first service advisor that contacted me. I had asked about some bulletins on my truck and was told there weren't any.

So after doing some research about the springs I have installed I found out they are actually OME 885's.

Its funny, I bought them off some website way back when and all they said was 1.5" lift springs for installation of snow plow.

So now after buying some Bilstein 5100's I can just swap the springs over and be good to go.
