I'm pretty happy with mine. I have about 3k miles on them so far. They are still looking great with no wear issues at all. They ride smooth and handle the weather great.

Thanks for the info. I figure with mounting and balancing total cost would be about $650 or $162.50 per tire. Still a great deal. Too bad my current tires have a lot of life on them. Although I could sell them I suppose.

I'm real happy with mine. Had them about a month and maybe 1200 miles. There's a little hum on the highway but not loud. They do great in the dirt and on rocky terrain, and handle rain and snow just fine. They air down nicely. I got the kedge grip and as the walnuts fall out they leave nice "siping" in the treads. They were a handful to balance but ride fine. I got the D load range and they're a little stiff aired up but are very strong. Very pleased w/ my purchase!

I say go for them, you'll be pleased.

The price is crazy low. I'm thinking about $30 a tire for mount and balance. Does that sound about right?

I have General Grabber all weather tires now that came with the truck. The appear to have a lot of tread left. They're about $130 new, I think I can sell them for about $320 for all 4. That'll pay for a good chunk of the new tires.

Came home from work today to find (5) 265/70-17E Warden A/T's on Firestone carcass's. Wow, they look much better then I expected. I can't wait to get them mounted and rolling.

They look surprisingly better then I expected. I was thinking that some of the original casing manufacturer text would be ground down as a result of the de-treading process, but not so. It's dark now so I will get pictures tomorrow and post up.

Unfortunately the Warden in 265/70-17 is not one that they are doing sidewall to sidewall retreading on. Certainly would have been nice though.

    Yup.

Still a really good price for bead to bead molds. 285 wardens are 138 a tire.

$25/tire was the going rate in my area, but I got a buddy to do it for 50bucks total.

The Cooper Discover ATR that I took off still had 30% tread about, so I'm keeping them to throw back on in the summer

I've had the Guard Dogs for a while now. Can't beat the price, but they're terribly loud and are horrible on wet pavement. I have no experience with name brand mud terrains so I'm not sure if this is the case with them all. I have one that has cracks on the side wall. I see they have bead to bead remolds so it should be an improvment. I may give those a try but will get Wardens next time around.

I had a set of Kumho Road Venture MTs before my Wardens. They weren't my first set of MTs either. I have never had a set of MTs that were great in the rain, ice or light snowy roads. If I had a rig for just wheeling I might run MTs but otherwise I would rather run a more-agressive AT like the General Grabber AT2 or something.

BTW, my Kumhos were pretty loud too.

Like I said earlier, if I can afford (or want to) to a regular tire when the time comes, I will go for the General Grabber AT2s. Otherwise it will be another set of Wardens. Probably get the Kedge grip this time around too.

I too had those really tiny cracks on one of mine. I sent them an email inregards and they assured me they would be fine. Just to be sure, I had a good friend who has been in the tire business a LONG time take a look. He said the same thing.

Do any of you that own these tires live in a very hot weathered climate? I live in Texas and most people I talk to that have tried retreaded tires say that the highways here get hot enough to allow the tread to seperate.

I would give TW a call and see what they say. I did a LOT of looking around on forums and such before I bought and I had a hard time finding anyone that owned them with a bad thing to say about the tires or the company.
