I've always wanted a 4X4 Tacoma, but I've been out of work for a few years now and for some reason used Tacomas around here seem to get more expensive the older they are and the higher the mileage. Go figure.

It's fuel, and $$$$ down the drain(literally). That shit is horrible for the environment. Not to mention a safety hazard for us all.

yeah I'm just playin'...anything's better than walking. The Ranger is a affordable truck with many aftermarket parts available. You see more Rangers in the desert than Toyota's sometimes. I used to install glass, suspension, etc, on them at my buds shop. Plus, you can flare your bedsides a mile unlike Toyotas.

I was actually impressed to see so many people giving you advice instead of a hard time. Also surprised to see a ranger owner with the courage to be on a Taco forum. I don't post my Chevy here much, since most won't understand or will flame, and the Chevy forums I recently joined are pretty boring.

It's funny you mention that because I actually joined this forum for two reasons. The first is that I was planning on getting a 2001-2004 first gen Taco (and that's still the plan BTW) and the second reason is because I noticed how decent everyone treated each other here before I joined. I'm not gonna name the Ranger forum I used to belong to, but lets just say I got nothing but know it all asshole remarks to all of my posts from the punks there. I guess you could call them "keyboard warriors".
