So my new Ruger MKIII 22/45 turnd out to be pretty complicated, lol. Replaced the trigger and sear with Volquartsen parts, removed the mag disconned safety and did the slingshot mod. Much better now.

So many amazing guns in this thread. The AR platforms are incredible. That Saiga 12 has sparked my interest as well!!

Should probably put this in the for sale section, but does anyone have a factory magazine plug they wanna sell for a Remington 870? :)

You have a round chopstick? Try it full length, then cut it 1/2" at a time until you can only fit 2 shells in the mag. Done. Free. My plug in my Mossberg is a piece of 1/4" dowel.

Yeah, a wooden dowel will work but Remington would send you one for free I'd wager.

    Here's a couple shots of my Ak's.

Yugo M70B, has the grenade launcher sights, locking dust cover, and some awesome wood furniture.

Draco SBR - Ace 8.5" folding stock w/ .5" buttpad, Hogue overmold pistol grip, TWS Dogleg II with peep sight and Eotech XPS 3, MI quad rail, Insight M3X light, CAI vfg, and a PWS muzzle brake. Love this one!

I have really bad cycling problems with my 1100 with light trap loads, works amazing with duck/geese loads though.

Pencils work too. You can pretty much use anything as a magazine plug. I've even used sticks/twigs when I'm in a bind dove hunting

MSRP is $1200. I paid $1350 at a mom and pop gun shop in San Antonio. Just happened to walk in and find it. He had put the rifle out the night before.

You are mistaken...not a smokin' deal at all. An unfucking-believable, surface-of-the-sun-hot deal! Nice find!

I told the owner it was nice to see a shop that wasn't overly marking up/gouging. His response was that he doesn't price his guns to keep them. :)

He did however have several consignments that were priced astronomically, but that's what the owners wanted out of them.

This was at Don't Gun shop. They're a real down to earth group of folks. It looked like Dad was the gunsmith and mom and son were the salespeople.

3724 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78229

If you happen in there and find some 308 mags in stock let me know. :)
