I dont have #6. >_> the freaking lock ring.

 

I'm on my phone so I can't post the pic in here but I uploaded in my gallery the pictures of the washers mine came with look at it and tell me which ones you got.

 

But if its the one I'm thinking of and you don't have it, do not close up the lights without it. I tried and the light kept moving like crazy and I had to take it apart again, huge pain in the ass.

Yes. I had it in this order. projector > lock nut > bulb holder, and i wonder why nothing would fit

 

Yet another roadblock... -.- how do you re-install the bulb holders, i've already lost one nut inside the projector twice, got it back the 1st time and this time i havent seen it... ._.

edit: found it.

 

Use a sharpie to cover up the chrome. Thats what I did.

 

Is this all i need for the back? i've come to the conclusion that you dont need the bulb holders or the clip for that matter.

Yeah I mounted mine without the lens covers on that way if you have to adjust anything it's still easy to do.

 

And how do you test them again? i've gotta take my truck back to (R3) parking lot so how would i go about testing them?

 

I just hooked up the harness and removed my lights stuck the retros in place and turned them on. I'm sure you've read about the one "hell" screw that's in close to the fender wheel. That was the hardest part and honestly I didn't even put it back and the lights don't move at all.

 

I see.. Well then tomorrow i shall test the projectors and report back, James how is yours coming along?

 

Looking good cam. Once I pay all of this tax money back ill deff be doing a retro.

 

Anyone know what they are bringing (food) for saturday yet? And maybe a ruff estimate of how many many will be there?
