Thats such a sick idea. Great job.

What compressor did you get or did I miss that above?

its the VIAIR system ( 1007) 100% duty cycles 150 psi

Should be able to do anything I want it to short of a die grinder .

I will likely use it to run nail guns from time to time as well ( wont need to drag the pan cake compressor with em all the time)

If I ever get to SAS this thing, it will be used for air lockers as well

They are the 6" Icons ( no spacer) and they will be rebuilt to extended travel when the time comes. I already spoke with Icon about it. They will add reservoirs and revalve them during the rebuild.

The one piece driveshaft completely cured by take off shutter, but I did develop some other vibes under accell from axle wrap. I really think it was from the shims being too steep, but I wanted the trac bar anyway.

The trac bar cured all and any vibes plus makes the truck feel extremely stable under hard acceleration ( no more heavy squating)

its about 8 ft of 1" .120 wall and 2" 1/4 thick angle for the feet

prices vary, but its roughly $50 in raw material I would guess.

I might through a interest thread up when I get it all done and see if there is any interest in the cross members

I am going to do another for a local guy with a one gallon tank in the near future ( once I get back in the country)

The only other issue I have is When I do my OBW, I might need that space... Also, did you move the carbon module? Thats on my things of "To Do"

No I did not. There is probably a foot between the tank and the cross member with the carbon can. The compressor could have gone on that side, but I would have wanted to move the cross member up to center it, or run two cross members ( not necessary with the way I have it, its stout to say the least)

When I take it off to paint, I will see if I can just move the whole thing forward, that would let you run the stock spare still.

I dont have a spare under there and I wanted it just behind the axle, instead of directly above it

yeah, they will be extended travel with uniball uppers. Then I will leave it like that for years until I get the funds for a 3 link SAS, but that will be down the road when the truck isnt so new.

I have once or twice when I had it on the beach and hit a few wash outs, but other than that no. The icons dampen the hit pretty well

When I get the coilovers reworked, I will take those bump stop brackets off and cycle the suspension and relocate them.

basically all I will have from the FT kit is the drop brackets themselves....

Yeah, that too. I do like that the lower ball joint goes right into the spindle now instead of the bolt on brace from the factory ( that was a common failure point from the first gen FT kits)

These came in today. Bolted them up for a test fit.

    4 Hella 700FF

I think I am going to change them to clear covers, I would love black ones, but cannot seem to find any

All will be converted to HID as well

I will finish up my fuse box mount this week sometime and get it in the truck to finish up all the wiring to get it all working

    Got alot done this weekend.

    OBA finished

Air hookup on the front and rear of the truck, pressure gauge in the rear cubby just for monitoring.

Bussman fuse box finished with 100 am breaker

    OTRATTW Switches installed

I didnt have a blank for the compressor switch. I used a small cheap on in the interior fuse box cover for now and plan to switch out the lower dash panel for one from an 09-11 truck sometime some and put the compressor switch there.

Start a thread so that we don't clutter his, but try this. Unplug the x1, ans reseat it, or completely remove it and plug back up the factory ecu.

Well last inspection , the tech told me the brakes wouldnt make it to the next oil change....

considering I only put 3900 miles on my truck in the past year, they lasted a year :D

but inspection is due so I picked these up

Brembo blanks of Amazon for 46 a piece and TRD pads for 75 I think.

Now I can finally change the last brake line to stainless. When installing the lift, one of my extended lines was faulty and split during installation. I have had the replacement line for over 2 years ...

Luckily the factory rear line was the same length as my extended front lines, so I have been running around with a rear line in the front for that long..
