Do you have any more pictures of your wheel wells? How long of a piece did you use? I feel 48" is cutting it pretty close and 12" wide isn't wide enough so I would have to go with 24" wide and the next length up from 48 is 96... although you do save a little buying just one sheet 48x96 lol that would be interesting to see shipped.

Hockey pucks are a good deal too. $1 or so a piece for practice pucks.

That looks pretty cool. Any plan to maybe add some covering to block it from mud splashing up or anything?

I am still debating. The bottom is flat ( not bolts protruding) for that purpose, but then I got the thinking that it would just hold debris/water/dirt.

The compressor is sealed. I remote mounted the air pickup to the passenger side bed cubby to make sure it always pulls dry/clean air

It should be OK without a pan, but I have the option to add one later if I wanted. The concern would be if its hot(running) and it gets dunked, but the likelyhood of that happening is slim.

if anyone has different opinions I would love to hear them. I actually toyed around with teh idea of mounting the compressor inside of a 50 Cal can to keep it clean, but then I was worried about heat.

Just went to cut up some steel. Torch down, pull the trigger and it won't light up. Pull it off the steel, the pilot arc lights just fine just can't get it to cut-pulses-blows nice pin holes half way through.

Checked all the consumables. Reassembled the torch. Everything's good.

All signs point the most expensive part in the torch, the start cartridge. Picked up a new one. Hopefully, that's the problem.
