Cool. I think I'll check the 885's and whatever Tri City Spring can do, and see which is better for me. I prefer supporting the local guys when I can, and really this bumper hasn't added a lot to the front so I don't need heavy duty springs like the 886's.

Oh ok cool! I work across the river at Lourdes every day so I just cut out for a few minutes yesterday to run down to Court St to have them look at the springs and schedule the appointment.

The ome rides great. Better then stock I would say. I have 885 with 10mm spacer, dakars and nitrocharger sports and its awesome. Do it right the first time or spend more money to change it out later on. That's how I looked at it.

Why the 10mm spacer out of curiosity? I'm trying to get rid of spacers/AALs now after going that route the first time. Unfortunately, with a wife and 4 kids I don't have $1,000-$1,600 to drop right now. Would be nice, but I also need to replace a wheel bearing soon.

So I'm going to get the springs done this week, and then see about shocks myself. Still debating on OME struts/885 coils, or see with Tri City can do for me.

Hey fellas, I need a bit of advice and am wondering if one of ya is willing to run a carfax/autocheck for me? I'm looking at this rig....

    http://elmira.craigslist.org/cto/3596608030.html

Anything I should be on the lookout for other than the obvious stuff when buying a vehicle? Stuff specific to one of these with 113k...

    How are the grapplers?
And how about the leveling kits?

    Vin: 5TELU42N27Z409399

Thanks for your time in advance!

leveling kits suck not good for the truck at all it you ever plan to leave pavement and grapplers are loud as hell and not very good on the street or in rain

These trucks seem to like to eat wheel bearings, leveling kit would speed that up right? What else is it bad on?

    Thanks bro

The 10mm is to make it the full 3in in the front. I might have gotten a bit over 3. But their not need and wouldn't do good on stock uca anyway. I have lite racing ucas so I dident have to worry about it.

Ah ok. I want the front a little lower anyway. Offset the sag from running 300lbs of weight in the bed during winter, or if I replace the besttop with a fiberglass shell. So I won't bother with one.

U could probably get the 884 there 10mm shorter than 885 but there the same spring rates. But all in all its up to u. And if your not going to offroad alot or get a plate bumper the 884s would be ok. Either way let us know what u decide.

So here are the results of Tri City Spring's work. I've *very* happy with them!

So the spring run is coming along nicely, went out yesterday and found some good roads near Ithaca. Please let me know who is definetly coming. I have some swag to give out the day of the run. If you have already commented on cny-yotas facebook page no need to do that here. List your Tacoma World handle on here or name even if your the spotter or just riding along for the day. I am going to try and secure a back room at buffalo wild wings for us before the day of the run,so after we are done we can grab a bite to eat and go over the days adventure. Its looking like April 27th will be the day, and meetup time is going to be around 1030-11, in Ithaca. Heading from Ithaca out towards Hammond Hill state forest in Hartford hitting Shindagan hollow, over to Candor area, then into Spencer for a lunch bbq, from there heading up Gleason to Washburn rd in Spencer out to Newfield circling back into Ithaca to buff wild wings. :mudding:
