New or used 4runner?

 

We are looking at new ones. She likes the 2010 and up body style. The used ones are only a few grand less than new so it isn't even worth it.

 

I like that style too or a 3rd generation.

Almost done wiring the compressor and the locker switch and solenoid valve,now to get the locker installed.

 

Damn denis! Your ganna love the dakars they are awesome. What are you going to run for rear shocks? Did you go with 886s up front?

New fast and loud tonight!

 

Just put the last coat of high gloss paint on my wheels. Gonna let them dry till wensday and then mount them up with the new tires. Can't wait. The tires are so agressive. It's gonna give my truck a whole new look.

 

And on Wednesday, when you get them mounted up, your truck will have a nice hum when going down the road to go along with the new look

 

Oh yeah haha. They are gonna Hum. I am hesitant putting really aggressive tires on my truck though. They look like an mt lol. I hope they don't ride horrible for suck a deep design

 

Are you ganna clear coat the wheels? Hope you have somewhere warm to paint its way to cold right now

 

I'm not gonna clear coat. There so shiny as it is lol. The brightest black haha. And I'm painting them in my garage where is just as cold as it is outside. So cold but I'm almost done.

You don't clear coat so it's shiney, you clear coat because it protects the paint and keeps it from fading. Clear coat doesn't have to be shiney. It comes in the same sheen as the paint, matte, satin, gloss, etc. and you typically buy the clear coat with the same sheen as the paint.

 

What mike said. And painting in cold weather can effect your paint job. Especially if the paint itself is cold. You should at least be trying to keep the paint warm before you use it.
