What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Jon, on ADD systems it isn't the hubs that engage/lock. Our hubs are always engaged,

When you 'engage' 4hi (push the button or move the shifter), the actuator, engager thingie is in the clamshell. I think its in that tube part on the passenger side.

hmmm...not sure....My last tires had the white letters out, and eventually they started to look like shit....

But the BFG's with the full white blocker lettering is kinda sexy...

Up to you man. I went the more perm route painting with Rustoleum High Perf. Enamel. But if you're gonna peel it off later then derp it lol.

 

think I am going to derp them for now..Im not sure how it will look on a light blue truck.

I was also just thinking of sand blasting them to get a unpolished mag aluminum look.

I want to paint mine gunmetal but I feel like they will just look like they are dirty all the time instead of painted.

 

Thanks man. I used dupli color high performance wheel paint. The can said it was track test so I figured it must be good haha

 

I was a little worried about that too. But they don't look dirty to me. It looks so much better in person then with a crappy cell phone picture

If your worried, use plastidip gunmetal. If you don't like it... peel it off!
